Originally from Norman, Oklahoma, Kayelee is a Boston-based singer, songwriter, and performer of pop, soul, and EDM. Kayelee grew up with a passion for acting, singing, and modeling starting at just 7 years old. After being diagnosed with epilepsy as a teenager, Kayelee says “I only felt normal when I was in choir or playing music.” Since then, she’s been intensely pushing her writing and performance capabilities both inside and outside the classrooms of Berklee College of Music. With a strong foundation of music and industry training at Berklee, Kayelee has just debuted her first music since 2014. That year, she worked with The Jam — who produced for Becky G, Jojo, and Lady Gaga amongst others — on her first EP, No Exit. Kayelee has since worked and collaborated with many talented producers at Berklee, and is excited to finally share her new single “Don’t Wanna Be With You,” as a prelude to her newly redefined sound, encompassing her upmost raw, unedited, and unscripted emotions.
It’s rare to find an artist who's willing to not only own, but fully embrace the imperfections in her life. Kayelee Ayers is on a mission to bridge the gap between the candid, unedited moments in her life and the glamoured, highly-curated content dominating today’s pop music scene.
